out of 5 stars we give this film...
In the course of my 5 years away from home, I have had quite a few roommates, both good and bad. Many good times and many arguments, but the level of discontent between Lana and Nozomi is catastrophic. Both of these young Japanese girls are aspiring young actresses, and both are determined to land the same role, the lead of the new big film,
Yakuza Wives.

The title or plot of this film is of little importance, however, as 2LDK quickly progresses from a dispute between roommates involving food and loud music, to outright war complete with swords, power tools, and lots of bitch slapping. By the end of the film, both young babes beat each other senseless, the house is destroyed, and role is awarded.

Overall this is a pretty decent film, though not stunning in any way. Acting is good but not amazing, and the story is appealing but pretty shallow. Even with these drawbacks, I felt myself laughing throughout the film, and was left with a dark satisfaction that could only come from watching two hot Japanese girls fuck each other up.
