ALTER EGO CINEMA'S QUICK FLICK FIX
by THE AMATEUR PORN STAR KILLER

What can I say? When I was a kid I was a fan of the chipmunks so naturally I had to see this. But like I've always said, I can't stand CGI mixed in with real life, unless it's supposed to look like a cartoon, like Roger Rabbit, but this film isn't. It's like Garfield, and this is the director of Garfield 2, so there you have it. Much of the humor is, of course, aimed towards little kids, though adults do get some giggles. I have to say, however, that this is a decent feel good film that will make you remember the fun you had listening to the chipmunks as a kid, so for that reason check it out. But expect some half-assed directing effort, Jason Lee who just doesn't feel right for the role every time he does the famous "ALLLVIIINNN!" yell, and chipmunks unfortunately singing those ridiculous current pop songs you just can't seem to get away from, like "Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me..." yeah, I know.
